Small buffs for Mage, Druid, Priest; small nerf for Shaman

“Even if Blizzard is remiss in updating their patch notes, we can always rely on our good friend Boubouille at MMO-Champion to have the goods on new PTR pushes. He doesn’t disappoint tonight. The following changes are straight from the data files, so there’s always a possibility that they aren’t actually implemented, although usually datamined changes do show up on the PTR. Let’s see what we have: [Druid] Nurturing Instinct now increases healing done to you by 10/20% while in Cat form (not affected by AP), in addition to increasing healing done by you by 50/100% of your Agi. [reworded for clarity] [Mage] Arctic Reach now affects Ice Lance as well as Frostbolt and Blizzard. Edit: Maybe just a tooltip change. Priest: Mana Burn tooltip changed to read “”Destroys”" instead of “”Drains;”" unknown whether this makes an actual difference. Power Infusion now reduces the mana cost of all spells by 20%, as well as increasing the casting speed by 20%. Shaman: The Ghost Wolf bonus on a few level 60 PvP items no longer affects players above level 60. I’m a lot more comfortable with the new Power Infusion now. Might be fun in PvP. I’m a little mystified by the Mana Burn wording change; speculation on MMO-C is that it might mean MB is no longer affected by resilience. All these changes seem to be buffs — except the Shaman one, of course. A very small nerf, but still a nerf; you guys just can’t seem to catch a break. ” “About this guide This guide will show you how to get your tailoring skill up from 0 to 300. wow powerleveling The guide will only use recipe’s available at a trainer until 275 and vendor available recipe’s from 275 to 300. This guide only uses recipes that require cloth and vendor bought material (thread, dye).

The only exceptions are the vendor bought recipe’s to get to 300 which require rugged leather. The leather needed is easily acquired through skinning or the auction house. This guide does not tell you how to get all the different recipe’s from quests, vendors or drops. power level What you do once you hit 300 is entirely up to you. This guide is primarily aimed at those who want to switch profession at high level or have high level alts, friends or guild members. Before I start, you need to realize this is not a leveling guide, it’s just a guide that will help you get your tailoring up quick, if you need a leveling guide, the best ones are: Joana’s 1-70 Horde leveling Guide for horde, and Brian’s 1-70 Alliance leveling guide for alliance. Preparation You are going to need a lot of linen and wool cloth and huge amounts of silk, mageweave and runecloth. Create an alt storage character to store these amounts of cloth and then farm (or have an alt farm) for the cloth needed. wow gold kaufen Use the in game mail system to send the cloth to the storage character. You may need more than one storage character. Don’t forget to send some gold to the storage character, so she can send the cloth back. Once you have all the components collected, everything has to be send back to your main character. wow power leveling The mailbox only shows the first 50 items you have in the mail. It also puts the last item send to you on top. So to avoid complications send the components you need first last: i.e the linen cloth are needed first, so these are the last to be send back to your main, after the wool, silk, etc. The recipe’s used require vendor bought components such as threads and dye.
gold wow These cost gold. To learn recipe’s from a trainer also costs gold. The amount of gold needed is approximately 40 to 50 gold if you farm all of the cloth. If you want to buy everything you need from the auction house expect to spend upwards to 250 gold. This does not include gold for recipe’s from vendors or the auction house. ” .RELATED LINKS:

World of Warcraft Hunter Tips

“World of Warcraft characters consider hunters to be one of the easiest character classes to play. This is not often true, but hunters who solo their way to high levels are known to do so quickly. The ranged combat class in the game does well in solo play, but can be a good addition to groups as well. A few tips and tricks can help the hunter in this task. 1. Do Not Solo All the Time Just because hunter can solo well, it does not mean a character should solo all the way to level 70. World of Warcraft like all other mmorpgs is designed to be a social experience. Not only that, the character who solos all the time may find it difficult to get groups if he does not understand what and what not to do when running through an instance with members of a group. Reputations matter in online games and word about a horrible player tends to spread fast. Joining groups is essential to learning how to control a pet in situations where the hunter and his pets are not the only concerns for the character. Hunters and warlocks who do not learn pet control are not welcome additions to raids or groups. 2. Pets Must Be Kept Well Fed The Hunter is one of the DPS classes in World of Warcraft. While the pet does not do as much damage as the hunter does with his crossbows, bows, and guns, it adds a significant amount. If the hunter does not keep his pet at the maximum health level, the hunter’s DPS is reduced. 3. Don’t Get Involved in Melee Combat Lower level hunters often make the mistake of fighting monsters with their melee weapons. At higher levels, this nearly halves the damage of a hunter. power leveling There are times when it is acceptable to use hand to hand weapons for this class, but these almost always involve getting a monster to stop attacking the group’s healer. Because a recent patch lowered the minimum range at which ranged weaponry could be use, a hunter who knows his class should need to use his melee weapons rarely. 4.

Use Traps Mages crowd control abilities in World of Warcraft may be more useful, but no limits exist on the types of monsters that frost trap works on. Freezing trap can take care of runners and the immolation trap provides extra damage. wow power leveling There are many trap abilities for the determined player. Knowing which to use and when can keep the amount of damage taking by the group down and help control the flow of combat. Further Resources for the World of Warcraft Hunter Blizzard maintains World of Warcraft forums where players may discuss a variety of topics relating to the game. The forums for each class often contain helpful information and are worth perusing. guild wars gold Fellow players, especially members of a player’s guild can help. ” “The three branches of the talent tree available to World of Warcraft hunters are beast mastery, marksmanship and survival. Knowing what each branch of the hunter talent tree does helps a hunter player to customize his character. The Beast Mastery Talent Tree As the name implies, the beast mastery branch of the hunter talent tree improves the hunter’s pet. As one of the key features of the class is its ability to use a pet to keep the mobs away from the character, many will choose to customize their character with abilities that enhance their pet. wow gold For hunters who want to solo their characters, beast mastery is the best choice. The Marksmanship Talent Tree The marksmanship talent tree is all about the hunter improving damage with his weapon. The abilities that grant faster attacks to the hunter are in the beast mastery talent tree. Because hunters in World of Warcraft are the primary non-magical ranged class, hunters who go for increased damage and a higher damage per second rating over all will choose the marksmanship talent tree. The Marksmanship talent tree is considered to be the best choice for hunters who wish to participate in player versus player combat and raiding in World of Warcraft’s end game.
lord of the rings online gold The true shot aura, which raises the ranged attack power of the entire group, to be the best ability in the marksmanship branch of the hunter talent tree. The Survival Talent Tree Hunters who wish to hone their crowd control abilities should choose the survival branch of the hunter talent tree.

class guide

“If you are not sure what class to pick when starting World of Warcraft or if you are looking for a strong alt, this guide gives a simple analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each class. Since the classes are so different, choosing the right character from the start can you save a great deal of time. Warrior Strengths: 1. Can wear mail from the start and plate at level 40. 2. Great melee abilities such as 3. Great tank class, especially when using a shield and going deep into the Protection tree. 4. One of the better classes to use for blacksmithing since warriors can use both the armor and weapons made with this profession. 5. Can be a force damage wise with a good two-handed weapon and a build focused on the Arms tree or two good 1 handed weapons and a build focused on the Fury tree. 6. Love to hate Can equip almost any type of weapon in the game whereas other classes are more restricted. For example, a shaman can not use a sword and a Paladin can not use a bow. Weaknesses: 1. Depends on rage too much. 2. level wow Not a broad class. 3. Not the highest melee damage dealer. 4. wow lvl More equipment dependant than other classes. 5. Dependency on the healing of other classes. 6. Somewhat limited in PvP due to the range and magic of other classes. Hunter Strengths: 1. wowgold Having a pet that can serve as a personal tank. 2. Possibly the best solo class in the game. 3. Traps can turn the tide of a battle in PvP. 4. runescape money Tracking allows you to get a scope of enemies in the area. 5. Works great with the leatherworking skill. 6. A strong PvP class due to high damage and range. wow schnell gold 7. Can tame a huge variety of pets.

Epic gems still going for 15 badges

“Here’s some news for those working on completing the Shattered Sun Offensive World of Warcraft. Proudmoore has finally completed Phase 4, giving Proudmoore players access to epic gems. The epic gems were seen in Shaani the jewelcrafting supplies vendor’s inventory. Apparently, the gems cost 15 Badges of Justice each instead of the 10-badge price we saw about a week ago. We haven’t heard anything official from Blizzard yet about the price difference, but keep checking back here for updates. Blizzard: no profession-based items yet Over at the World of Warcraft forums, gamer Zanyu is complaining that there seems to be an imbalance as far as items and professions are concerned. Citing the item list from the official WoW site, Zanyu wants to know why the epic mace, Stormherald, is left off. The Stormherald is a two-handed weapon forged by Blacksmiths, but could only be used by Smiths who bear the Hammersmith specialty. Zanyu reasons why this weapon should be in the official list, since Blizzard has already given rogues the Rod of the Sun King. The epic, one-handed mace may be useful for Fury Warriors, but it’s notably a very powerful weapon for rogues in PvP and PvE situations - let alone the Arena Tournament. Blizzard blue poster Bornakk swiftly replied and said Blizzard hasn’t implemented any item which “”requires a profession to use.”" The Hammersmith limitation of the Stormherald meant it wouldn’t be added by Blizzard - thus, its absence in the weapons available for the Arena. A dedicated weapon may come in the future but so far all items are unbiased for all professions. Now that the Arena Tournament 2008 is being held (currently in Phase 2), however, it may be too late for a quick arsenal change for warriors. Stay tuned here at QJ.NET for more updates. ” “I know a lot of you on this boards despise arena, but w.e! If you have a story related to pvp then do tell! I was doing 2v2 with a guildie of mine (Feral Druid gasp! We were at a 1780 rating but don to around 1720 now) and we were against a Rogue/ Lock combo.

It was in BE arena and the lock was on one of those pillars. So I decide to shadowstep up there from the bottom floor and start to stun lock him, and when he goes back on the bridge my druid partner will intercept. So I shadowstep up, and RIGHT when I cheapshot, I get sapped! There was no pause when I shadowstepped and cheap shotted, it was one after the other. Back when i was blue/green geared instead welfared out, I (Dwarf Hunter specced BM at the time, was like a 1520 rating), my guildie disconnected after I had joined the arena. Wound up fighting two rogues. Dunno if they felt bad that I was by myself, or they hadnt noticed my partner had DC’d and were waiting to sap him or something, cuz only one attacked me. When I got him to about 30% and was at about 80 myself, his partner finally joined in. I just popped BW, killed first rogue real quick, then kited the other one around until he dropped too. world of warcraft powerleveling I was so pumped, till I realized that they had sucked and I was a BM hunter. It was a 2v2 i was on my rogue with a ele sham and the other team was a druid with a fel guard lock in blades end. battle starts, the end result is the druid and my ele sham die at the same time, leaving me against a almost full hp lock with a lot of dots on on me with 10% life. I do a clock of shadows, sprint and vanish and hide. wow powerlevel i spend about 10 mins avoiding the lock. by this time the lock gave up on trying to find me and parked himself on the bridge with his fel guard.
i knew i could not win against the lock with his fel guard, so i spent the next 45 mins taunting him to come and find me or get rid of his fel guard. world of warcraft power leveling he finally became sick of me and summoned a void walker and sacrificed it. I went in for the kill and it was over in 15 secs. I hate it when rogues do that. But seriously doing arena in a crappy bracket with a crappy pve geared team expected to lose 10 games and get 200 arena points (its 5v5) we absolutely ripped it up. Got nearly 160+ rating by the end of it. eq2 platinum We won 8-2 at 1400, the only times we lost was 1. when our priest dc’d and 2. when our hunter afk’d. wowgold The team was pompyro mage (moi) hunter hunter feral druid circle of lol priest. The good teams targeted priest first but we burned em down, when the priest did finally die we got a whole heapin helpin of healing from her other form before she dropped. Plus me and druid sheeping/cycloning paladins/druids made for some fun times. ” .RELATED LINKS:http://annasu.blogdiario.com/

Would you kill a begging/crying Alliance?

“Step 1: Is Ally a threat to me, others, or our NPCs. If yes, proceed to Step 3. If not, go to Step 2. Step 2:Is Ally a honorable target. If yes, proceed to step 4. If not, proceed to Step 5. Step 3: Kill. Kill. Kill. Step 4: Do I feel like killing, or just playing with their heads. If killing, go back to Step 3. If just playing around, proceed to Step 5. Step 5: Do I have the time to jerk around with this Ally. If so, proceed to mess with Ally until he/she runs off, or commits to an action that initiates Step 3 via Step 1. runescape money If not, proceed to Step 6. Step 6: I’ve got better things to do. Mount up, go somewhere else. Hrm. Depends. ever quest platinum If I am questing and they are questing I’ll leave them alone - or even help them out if they overdraw. Or like in STV last night me and a guildy were grinding those nagahs for that ‘kill 100000000 nagahs for 10 weeds’ quest in BB, and a dwarf warrior was up there. Normally our inclination is to kill first and ask questions later but, frankly, we were at 6/10 of those damn reeds. So we /wave and start to draw another one when three of them spawn around the dwarf. We jump in and save her, and then - bug. wow powerleveling Nagahs start spawning up there near the water spring every 45 seconds or so. We ended up playing with that dwarf for a good hour or so. Of course an hour later we decided to go ganking and killed every Ally we came across. And for some reason, generally, if I am in STV I’ll kill every Ally I see.

Same with Hillsbrad. wow But not with places like Thousand Needles or Feralas. Edit: Actually I know why I do it in STV. Because on Blackrock at last those whiney little #.*es bring their Mommy or Daddy’s 70 with them as a bodyguard instead of actually learning to PVP on their own. ” “In certain situations I might, but generally I’ll spare some flagged lowbie if I see one. (For me, a lowbie qualifies as any target whose level is green or gray, so even a 67 is a lowbie to me.) Situations involving lowbie death: 1. lotro gold Lowbies gang-banging another lowbie, such as in the case of a Pally and Shaman attacking a Troll Hunter in the Blasted Lands a couple weeks ago. Those lowbies ate it a couple times until the Hunter got outta dodge. 2. Lowbie makes the mistake of attacking me on the rare occasion that I flag up. 3. Lowbie attacks a Horde town, such as the village outside the Valley of Trials (name escapes me at the moment). 4. Sort of a variation of #3… I once ordered the execution of a 63 Warlock who was summoning in Hunters and Rogues to attack XR.RELATED LINKS:http://wowgoldmaster.iblog.com/

We’ve changed strategies

“Got our asses handed to us on a silver platter the other night in AV, but gotta say, it was the most fun I ever had. The Allies were so organized that it had to have been a premade (that or we just totally sucked) - reguardless, horde got driven off of offense (literally cut off and forced back) within minutes - every landmark on the top 75% of the screen was blue. We get forced back to the graveyard just north of our keep and its obvious that we’d lost and couple of peeps start demanding in /bg for everyone to just give up and let allies win so we can get our honor and try again. I was sick of that attitude and started spamming the /bg for them to f-off and for everyone to fight to the finish - make the allies pay in blood for every inche of land, remember the X-roads, etc! LOL - it worked. mp3 player We went from being routed to the battle of the Alamo - it was fantastic! Offense was non-existant, the entire team was fighting tooth and nail to hold ground - allies took the grave yard, we held until they forced us back to the city walls. Just to get through the gate took them a good five minutes, then back to the next choke point and the next and the next - every corner, doorway, bridge, tower, etc was an epic battle with 40 versus 40 fighting over an area the size of your living room. The AOE capable toons were racking up damage scores in the six digits with everyone being so tight and close to each other and the horde pretty much graveyard zerging - anyone in that battle that didn’t have high-speed was getting knocked off if they got within 100 yards of the battle.

The allies must have been fumin - what should have been a 5-10 minute win for them turned into almost an hour long recreation of the battle of Berlin - they didn’t manage to kill Drek either - they had to reduce our soldiers down to zero just 1 kill at a time. Was it a waste of our time - technically, yes. lecteur mp3 Did it piss of the allies that thier easy win was turned into an hour long nightmare - most likely. Was it fun as all hell - unquestionably!” “i remember one time out in crossroads when i was grinding when something not too out of the ordinary happened. On the wisperwind realm there is a famous ganker and griefer known as Rikku, him and about 3 of of lvl 70 guildmates constantly attack anyone, and i mean ANYONE, flagged or not, you are not safe even if u are a level 1 person, and what i mean about flagged or not is that he will snake trap you if hes sees that u don’t want to take part in pvp, if u are horde, you will get killed. wow mein gold de Back to the story, i was getting repaired when the local defense message “”Rikku at wailing caverns”" came across, pretty soon everyone was putting pvp off, but i knew it would do no good, this was my 5th Rikku encounter, the first of which was at silvermoon trying to get past level 3 but kept dying at his hands for an hour. The group came down at us while i was leaving, killing everything, there were bodies and skeletons everywhere till help arrived. About 3 lvl 70s got psts from us and flew in to help, the battles went on forever, being level 14 i just hid and eagle eyed the whole fight, from time to time they would leave and hide, but i would scout and eagle eye for them and cry out once in view.
wow gold After another fifteen minutes we had 2 raid groups going to drive them out. I can’t imagine being on a realm without Rikku, whenever hes there its like another great event will unfold, although he ganks and griefes way too often (like 24/7 just in different areas everytime), its neat how everyone works together to beat him, so this is a message to Rikku if you are reading this, keep doing what your doing, and when i’m level 70 i’ll be keeping you off the newbies you ganking bastard i just do not understand the point in level 70 ally noobs attacking all the low level horde areas . i have had ally characters all levels up to 70 for a long time now and it is rare to see horde killing low level quest givers , if as ally i am high enough i will kill them of course or at least try to , but ally against horde it seems no matter what race i play or what area the ally kill the quest givers first . cheap wow gold My question is what do they get from killing low levels . as far as i can tell no benefit from it at all apart from annoying other players trying to level , as i have rolled 5 horde characters recently i can see i will be killing far more ally when i get to 70 than ever i did as an ally , and the snake-trap is a nasty trick to use on low levels , i was very surprised when i got it and found the snakes attacked horde characters, and i try not to use it if any are close , now i try to use it only when i get some horde annoying me , which is rare these days….” .RELATED LINKS:http://wowgoldmonster.edublogs.org/

Warrior or Hunter

“Hunters are pretty much the fastest class to level. You can solo a lot and you can go through a lot of grinding without stopping. Feral druids, when hitting 32 become very fast as well. They are very mana efficient while soloing because their mana pool regenerates while in a different form, which is very nice if you need to pop out and heal. Warriors, I haven’t leveled one very far so I don’t have a lot of knowledge in that area. If I were you, I would roll a druid. Druids can be effective healers, DPS and tanks if the talent specialization and gear are placed correctly. So if you got bored of tanking, you could re-spec to something else and try that out. The cookie cutter feral build for a druid is: http://www.wowhead.com/. talent=0Z…frRezioVbGz Usually I would never suggest getting nurturing instinct, but with the new changes (it doesn’t show it in the wowhead talent tree at the moment) your healing is increased by 50/100% of your agility, and increases healing done to you while in cat form by 10/20%. Which is very nice since it helps off-healing and in pvp it’ll be easier to heal druids in cat form - usually they’re obligated to go bear form to reduce dmg taken, but it also gimps their dps. Staying in cat form with this talent should solve that if you have a willing healer behind you. Also, it’s the cookie cutter feral build - some people don’t take brutal impact and savage fury, and get other things. You may want to do that, or stay with this build. mp3 player Anyways, sorry for the long post - good luck in the World… of Warcraft Personally, I have leveled a druid to 24, a warrior to 40, and a hunter to 70.

I find that the hunter is the easiest to level and probably the most fun to play with. I kind of got bored with the druid, but I hear you just need to kinda stick with them til they get to a higher level, where they are very fun. I found the warrior to be much more fun than I expected. lecteur mp3 I thought it would just be, whack the target, and move on. And it basically is…but theres a variety of ways in which to do it that make it exciting. If I were making anew character all over again, if you have no higher level alts, I would make a hunter because you don’t need to upgrade gear as often and they are easier to farm and solo with. But that’s just my two cents Hunters are good if you are new to wow and they are easiest class to solo with being that they have pet at lvl 10. Warriors I can’t tell you much since I never used one myself but I would have to say that they get kinda difficult to use as you get higher because instance/raid groups need a good tank or dps and you need to know your class well. wow mein gold de To tank well you need to time it right, make sure everyone has mana up and health as well. Trust me I had met some pretty bad tank warriors and led our group to many wipes. ” “I’m not sure if you’ve noticed in the past month, but to counter the Alliance Frostwolf Relief Hut rush; we Horde have taken to using Resto Druids and Rogues to ninja Stormpike Aid Station. The problem with this is: You don’t come to help, ever. You’re either on the road, or fighting over Stormpike Graveyard while we’ve already despawned the Dun Baldar archers and turned the Stormpike Aid Station flag.

wow gold There’s maybe one Druid there, at most three people, so we need help. Strategies have changed, so please adapt so we can keep winning in AV. If you see people at Stormpike Aid Station, just forget Stormpike Graveyard and reinforce them ASAP Another thing to start doing, is rezzers need to gang up and take IB and TP towers back, I watched 3-4 Ally attempts on Drek wipe when we retook these towers. With their rush on FW Keep it makes taking back the E and W Frostwolf Towers almost impossible unless you can stealth. Rezzers @ SH Get the towers back when the main force rushes to the keep, makes all the difference. Alliance rushes FW relief hut within the first 3 minutes. cheap wow gold They don’t care about the choke point anymore, so we’ve started to put defense down there. Also, Alliance tend to wait in front of Drek. My fav strategy is stay inside with Drek and fear the alliance into coming inside - Drek picks them off. For some reason (maybe stupidity), when they attempt to do the same to Van, we pick them off before Van gets aggroed. ” .
